Zip

We adopted Zip in 2002 from the Oregon Human Society when he was about one year old. He was nervous and shy, but was loyal and affectionate with his family. He was happiest and most confident when hiking and camping, which we tried to do frequently because he never fully adapted to being a city dog. He was good at bluffing when he wanted to be threatening to strangers, but it is difficult to think he would ever hurt anyone. He was always patient and gentle with other dogs, and never bothered his feline siblings, even when they picked on him and tried to take over his bed. Zip brought us great joy and we hope we did the same for him. We will always miss him!
A donation was made in Zip's memory and the memorial was created on February 21, 2017.
