Torque

We got Torgue and his brother Rocky from a pet store in Milwaukie in just before Christmas (2010). We gave Rocky to Pops as a Christmas present.
Early spring of 2011 Torque came down with Parvo, it was a miracle, but he pulled through only to then get a massive joint infection and was able to pull through that as well. As a puppy he had a rough start but always full of love and energy. So much energy and clumsiness he tore a ligament in his knee. With his little sister on the way we could not afford the $3000 to repair the ligament but this did not slow him down.
He loved everyone, especially me, and his sister McKynlee. He also loved the beach, chasing cats, squirrels and was a great mouser. In May of 2022, we took him in to look at an infection on the tip of his tail and during this process the vet found tumors on his spleen, bladder and kidneys. This was the beginning of the end. By August he was blind in one eye and having a hard time getting up and down stairs and wasn’t eating much. With one last trip to the beach, I felt it was time. We laid him to rest in our back yard on August 23,2022.
“Our Beloved Puppy Dog” will forever be missed.

A donation was made in Torque's memory and the memorial was created on November 3, 2022.
