Tilly Chandra

Tilly was an amazing pet, his personality was so unique that we often wondered if he is part cat and part dog. He loved outdoors, was a sun worshiper to the core, and going out and exploring was congenital for him. He displayed amazing bravery and resilience. He loved to ‘go to walk’ with us and he would almost ‘lead’ us the way even following marked crosswalk signs on the road. He would give a ‘demo’ of his mouse catching skills on these walks if asked. He proved the old adage that a ‘cat has 9 lives’. He went through several heath issues in his almost 13 years of earthly abode. Each time he was given ‘few weeks’ of time by the Vet, but he came back with more vigor and zest for life. He had a sense of being protective of family members in the house starting with Missy, our other kitty. Covid lockdown was one of the best times of his life as he was able to roam around anytime he desired with all family members at home and he sure made most of it. But losing Missy towards the end of 2020 was something that drained him emotionally and then physically that lead to his final departure. He left us with memories to cherish our lives, taught us what unconditional love is and more than anything made us all better humans able to understand their emotions and place in the cycle of life! RIP our Boy Scout!
A donation was made in Tilly Chandra's memory and the memorial was created on April 14, 2021.
