Ringo

Ringo was Gifted to me by a close friend 5 months after the passing of my canine soulmate, Taiyo. Taiyo and Rings had romped together in their younger days and I can’t help but think Taiyo had something more cosmic to do with bringing us together, as if she was truly looking out for me in her afterlife. Ringo was probably all Cattle dog, a tricolor healer rescue from California. Super smart, attentive, well-behaved and loyal as ACDs tend to be, but he also was a total chill-dog: quiet, friendly and welcoming to most people, dogs and cats (well, lets say he graciously tolerated Calypso), independent enough, and able to just relax and take in the peaceful views we sought out. We had many Pacific Northwest and West Coast adventures and explorations together. He had a perfectly-timed, comical boot-scoot just as I’m meeting someone new. I will forever miss his kind gentle eyes looking up at me as his subtle tail-wag wags his whole body back and forth, and his sweetest gentlest drive-by tongue-less kisses when I’m in some crazy yoga pose, or having a sad day. He was an amazing gift for which I am endlessly grateful.
A donation was made in Ringo's memory and the memorial was created on December 12, 2016.
