Playboy

Just one year ago 23 year old Playboy was purchased from a family that we had known for the past 20 years and had been their outstanding team roping, breakaway roping, barrel racing & pole horse & helped our grandson master the two rodeo associations events competing on him in barrel racing & pole bending & helped him to win two year end association saddles at the age of 7.
Our now 8 year old grandson Dallen lost his buddy “Playboy” as he decided to retire the other day, in the only way I think Playboy was willing to retire and went to heaven. Unfortunately it was before we were ready, but then, we knew when we got him that this was on Playboy’s terms. Through all the heartache Dallen’s parents said to Dallen, how lucky they were to have him and spend the time they had. Their quote “we were lucky that we were there with him when it happened and that we were able to comfort him as he passed. He wasn’t alone, he was loved so much.” His buddy Jeffery (a 24 year old AQHA) was beside himself last night. It’s not a loss anyone has taken lightly and he will be missed by all of us.
Playboy was a great horse, a legend and he took great care of all of us in more ways than we can ever imagine.
A donation was made in Playboy's memory and the memorial was created on April 19, 2017.
