Olive

We adopted Olive from the Pasadena SPCA Shelter. She was a such a cute puppy and very energetic. She was black like an olive and we got her at Christmas. So, we named her Olive – inspired by the childrens’ book, “Olive, the Other Reindeer” (From the song Rudolph, Red-Nosed Reindeer. Get it? “all of the other reindeer, used to laugh…”). She liked to run and run around the yard, chase birds and squirrels, and sneak dog treats when no one was looking. She was an outside dog because she had so much evergy. Although, she really like to nap in the sun while laying next to the tree in her dog run. During the last two years of of her life, she became an indoor dog who mostly napped on her comfy doggie bed, leaned on people who sat on the couch and tried to eat cat pooh. We love and miss her so much but are glad that she was part of our lives.
