Nykia

My mother bought her when she was a pup way back in Sept. 16, 2001 for my sister. My Sister had moved out and left her dog Nykia. I came to visit my mother one day and say Nykia in a small cage, I asked my mother why she was in there and I was told that she had too much energy. I took her out and she definitly did have too much energy. So, I took her for a walk to the dog park where we played catch for about an hour or so. I walked her back and asked my mother what she was going to do with Nykia. She told me that she was going to give her to the pound. Now, I am not a fan of dogs, I am cat person, but I could not stand to see such a sweet and playful dog go to the pound, so I took her home to my house in Portland, where she has lived with me since. I took her home when she was only 2yrs, and she was an amazing dog to me, my kids, and to anyone that met her. She made me a dog lover. she will be very missed! R.I.P. Nykia, (a.k.a Hunner Bunner)

A donation was made in Nykia's memory and the memorial was created on December 11, 2017.
