Mika

We adopted Mika aka Meeka aka Meekster/Meekie/Meekahlah in 2011 because she was the calmest most non-reactive dog and our male dog Hector accepted her right away. She didn’t trust us at first, but Hector showed her the ropes. For the first 5 years that we loved Mika, she was the easiest dog to take care of- so calm, so content. She “talked” a lot with little grunts and nudged us for treats and walks. The last year of her life was harder- filled with medicine and unquenchable thirst- but she was so tough and determined. I often said that Mika was my role model and this is true in so many ways. We miss her terribly.
