Marty was with us for 10 years after we got him from a friend. She had him for 5 years. He had a ton of personality and would make funny noises when he wanted to go out or demanded to be fed. Hard to describe the sounds but they made us laugh. He was mild-mannered and you’d need to coax him to play and his sister would coax him to play also but then he was full of energy once he got started. A daily walk was a favorite time for him and then a nap. He had a habit of shoving himself next to me on the sofa and usually ended up on my lap sleeping and it had a calming effect that would sometimes put me to sleep. Going to miss that terribly. His sister misses him and looks for him occasionally especially at night when we’re all going to bed.
A donation was made in Marty's memory and the memorial was created on October 25, 2022.
