Mambo

I was surrounded by a litter of standard poodle puppies, and one jumped in my lap on peed on me. I was forever his person after that. A year later, Patryk won over both of us, and 2 years later Kian became part of the family. The day we brought Kian home, Mambo sniffed him head to toe and immediately starting licking his head. He would go out on walks with Patryk, but once home, he would go room to room until he found Kian safe, and then he would settle down. Mambo helped us choose a nanny for Kian. In the interviews, he either sat at the feet of the nanny facing us (his version of thumbs up), or sat at our feet facing the nanny (protecting us).
He loved trips to the beach, to Oxbow Park which we referred to as Doggie Heaven, and most of all, he just wanted to be with us all the time; all of us together. Mambo became a fixture in our neighborhood; everyone knew Mambo. He was a smart, sweet, gentle, happy, loving member of our family. We miss him so much.
