Mac Mac

I rescued Mac Mac from the Greenville SC humane society when she was about 3 Mos old. She was the first pet I had gotten as an adult, and before I got Married. Mac Mac was mischievous, funny, and very unique. She didn’t meow, she liked to talk to you and reply with a sound that sounded more like “Shmock”. She also had a love for orange soda, ( which she would drink by putting her paw in an unattended glass and then scooping it into her mouth) and ice cream, and would try to sneak both at every chance she could get. After getting married , my husband Reece and I moved from Savannah GA, to Oregon taking along Mac Mac on her first camping trip, and even brought her to Mt. Rushmore, (not sure of how many pet cats had been there.) She was loved by all that met her, and even those that had never met her, simply by me sharing stories about her. She was my first baby, and one of my best friends. Sadly on Aug 8th , we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put Mac Mac down. She was 10 yrs old, and had gotten very sick. As hard as it was to make that decision, we knew it was the right one, and will cherish all the memories that she gave to meus. I am certainly lucky to have had her in my life.
A donation was made in Mac Mac's memory and the memorial was created on August 24, 2018.
