Koa

Koa was my hiking buddy, companion on every trip to the store & never leaving my side when I had the flu, my morning paper retriever, and overall my “Bud Bud” as he was known to most. Koa even learned to say, “I love you” and was very much a talker. I swear he knew every word I said! He was a picture of health and he attracted many onlookers. His 100 lb. frame was shiny and muscular, but quite friendly to all. Such an obedient boy – he was taught not to take food that was on the table, which was right at his level. After 7 1/2 years of unconditional love, he was diagnosed with DCM. It all happened so fast. I didn’t want to believe that my Koa was going to be gone…forever. I had 2 weeks to say goodbye and give Koa as much love as I could and thank him for giving me the best days of my life as a dog owner. Koa lives on in my heart and this memorial that I will treasure forever. I love you too, Koa…
A donation was made in Koa's memory and the memorial was created on March 23, 2020.
