Ike

Ike was dumped by a backyard breeder. I first laid eyes on him while I was riding my bike through the Long Island Rail Road parking lot in Massapequa, hence I called him Ike. I knew something was not right, as he was hiding under cars and not in the preserve.

Here’s the story:

Ike lived for 8 years and became very close to Tiffany, who would often groom him, though he didn’t reciprocate. He was suffering from renal failure in his final days, but made a miraculous comeback to have a final weekend with Tiffany.

A donation was made in Ike's memory and the memorial was created on July 13, 2016.
