Helix. Helio. Nugget. You were sunshine in feline form. For 17 and 1/2 years you gave us your amiable, easy going and lovable companionship. Your unique tail, twisted in a swirl, would wag. Your low “sub sonic” purr easily elicited with just a greeting. You loved salmon and ice cream; shoulder rubs and chin scratches. When we adopted you at 6 months you were already a big guy. Although being picked up was not your favorite, we just couldn’t resist hugging you. You were so patient with us! You were a trooper through all the medications and bandage changes but, sadly, cancer got the best of you and we had to say goodbye. Oh, buddy, we will miss you!
