Heidi

Heidi came into my life when she was 7 months old. She was a Shepard mix. I adopted her from a rescue group. She had been surrendered by her owners and was very sick with parvo. Despite the odds of surviving with parvo, she made it! Thanks to the rescue group and Vet who obviously took such good care of her for several months while recuperating. I can tell she must have had the most wonderful care because she loved going to the Vet her whole life. The minute I saw her at the adoption event I knew this was the dog for me. She was so sweet and loving but also had a perky spunk about her. Heidi was the sunshine of my life. She seemed to like it when I would sing “You are My Sunshine” to her. Heidi was very well mannered and followed commands, which allowed her to be off leash when it was appropriate. She liked to be outside with me and stroll along near the house. She was my constant companion and loved to share Blueberries with me every morning. Heidi rescued me from a life threatening health event. I know she saved my life that night. She was one of those dogs that would try to say I love you….it came out I wuv woo. I miss her so much. I am so blessed to have had her in my life and hopefully gave her a wonderful forever home. God rest your soul, Heidi
