Hazel

I rescued Hazel from a shelter in July 2017. At the time of her adoption, she was about 10 years old. She was the sweetest cat and was always purring. Upon her rescue, I was informed that she had a sensitive stomach. It seemed that it would be manageable with special food. About a year in, I was realizing that there may be more involved than just a sensitive stomach. After a lot of vet visits and numerous blood panels, it was determined that she had EPI and over time blood panels came back with other numbers being either too low or too high. As gut renching as the decision was, I knew that it was time to put her to sleep in April 2020. Doing this while being safe at home during the Coronavirus pandemic was a lot to take in. I am so grateful and thankful for the time we had and I miss her everyday.
A donation was made in Hazel's memory and the memorial was created on May 12, 2020.
