Grandma Trinity

On Thanksgiving Day in 2016 PPR welcomed a HUGE personality from the Coos Bay Shelter. Trinity, or Grandma as she would become known came to us at the age of 14 with a list of health issues from neglect. We welcomed her into our Furever Foster program and she quickly became a fixture at all PPR events. With her signature tongue, smile and bossiness, she charmed her way into everyone’s hearts, but none more than her foster moms Michelle and Linda. With excellent vet care and lots of love we were able to give Grandma a full and happy 3 years which she otherwise would not have had. At age 17 and still going strong, we thought Grandma may have drank from the fountain of youth, but she became ill quite suddenly yesterday and left us late last night, on to her next adventure where we are sure her spark and light are already bringing joy.
Please send your love to her foster moms who are experiencing so much sadness at their loss of this precious girl. You can reach out on Instagram @grandmaisalove to see pictures of grandma and send a message of support directly to her moms.
A donation was made in Grandma Trinity's memory and the memorial was created on February 6, 2020.
