Gracie and Ben were together since she was a puppy. She was a headstrong challenge, and he wasn’t her first home, but he never gave up on her. Gracie and Ben went through some big life changes together. G-dog is one half of the reason that Ben and Serena met at the dog park in 2015. Gracie and Clementine (Serena’s dog) became best-fur sisters and Serena and Ben were married just over a year later. It’s like our own personal Hallmark movie.
Gracie was never satisfied if we were not all together. She would go room to room counting and tracking each of us, only resting if we were all in one place. She LOVED tennis balls. She could find one even if the homeowner had no idea there was one to be found. She was very proud, she had a sense of rules and etiquette about being a dog but as she aged she learned to snuggle and even give little kisses. She was smart, we suspect she could understand English quite well. We still don’t know exactly which type of brown dog she is. But she was a one of kind girl that we miss dearly.

A donation was made in Gracie's memory and the memorial was created on December 20, 2017.
