Freya

I adopted Freya in December 2019. She was only 4 months old and we bonded instantly. She loved to cuddle, play, and eat everyone’s food! She followed me around the house like a puppy. I had to watch where I stepped because she was always at my feet. At about 7 months old she became very lethargic. She slept all day, became uninterested in playing, and lost weight. Finally, at her last vet visit when I noticed she had stopped eating, I was told she has FIP. That was the most heartbreaking news that I have ever received. FIP has no cure and is fatal.
I do truly believe that animals come into our lives for a reason. Maybe I came into hers during her time of need. I will always cherish the memories with her.
A donation was made in Freya's memory and the memorial was created on March 26, 2020.
