Franklin

Over his sixteen full years, Franklin most enjoyed long games of fetch, running on the beach, walks around his neighborhood, lounging in cushy Orvis beds, eating compost from spring gardens, swimming in Oregon’s rivers and hiking any trail. He also had quite an appetite in his younger years and was keen to jump on the kitchen counter for any tasty morsel he could run away with. He loved sneaking bites of cheese from cheese plates and the occasional pizza crust…or two.
When the neighborhood area got a pet store (Wild – the best!), he became a regular and would devour as many treats as he could while in the store. We still smile about that today.
A fairly anxious dog, he was happy at home, and happiest around people versus other dogs. He was a wonderful canine companion. What we will remember most is how joyful he could be with simple pleasures. He was a sweet, forever friend and lives in our heart and mind every day.
Thank you to Broadway Vet for the loving care over many years.
A donation was made in Franklin's memory and the memorial was created on January 31, 2022.
