Elliott

Elliott is a Devon Rex and the love of my life. He was a surprise birthday gift from my husband. Elliott was always and old soul and the sweetest cat I have ever owned. And I have owned many indoor cats over the years. He loved for me to carry him upside down in my arms and slept in my left arm every night…except a few hot summer nights and the few last days of his life. He lived to be 13, which I found out later is old for a Devon. I however thought he would live for at least 5 more years like many of my other cats have. He started sleeping a lot and not eating much. A trip to the vet revealed renal lymphoma which was not treatable. On our first day of Oregon rain November 2, 2020 we had him euthanized in my arms. The sky cried along with us that morning. We miss him so much and so does his pride that he left behind.
A donation was made in Elliott's memory and the memorial was created on January 5, 2021.
