Duke

Duke came into our family in 2013. He was originally named Daley, as we wanted to keep with D names, his brother was Dexter. Duke had a cute pin head that his dad worried he wouldn’t grow into. Considering every passer by commented on him being “all head”, I think he did. Daley never felt like it fit, so we used a family nickname, Duke, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for our Dukie. Duke was a special, once in a life time dog. All he wanted in life is a lap to lay on, a bone to chew and his snacks. He would even fake being sick to get you to finish cleaning and sit down on the couch with him. He gave the best kisses, never barked and was completely unbothered by any noise. Everyone was his friend and everyone loved Duke. I never thought I would be able to live my life with out Duke, and even though I miss him every minute, I continue talk about his silly antics and scroll through the million photos I annoyed him taking.
A donation was made in Duke's memory and the memorial was created on March 22, 2021.
