Django

Django Daily was born during the summer of 2003. He was four weeks old when he was adopted, and the smallest of his brothers and sisters. His large ears hinted that he would be a big kitty someday, but no one could have guessed he would grow to a whopping 34 inches from nose to tail tip, topping out at twenty-one pounds mid-life. He loved bird-watching from window sills, daintily eating green olives after kicking them around awhile, and testing out new blankets. While he never had a live-in dog buddy, he was extremely fond of neighbor dogs throughout his life, and was known to corner dogs large and small with his affection and curiosity. Django, named after a Belgian jazz guitarist, was not only a cool cat, he was also a great protector who would constantly monitor his loved ones and notify them of impending mishaps. An ideal day for him was a good, thorough house cleaning with some cheerful music playing, and a quick sun nap followed by quality time and a home-cooked meal.

I am endlessly grateful for the seventeen years Django graced my life. Goodnight, baby kitty <3
