Daisy

I found Daisy at the Humane Society. Actually, she found me. I had been volunteering there for a little over a year after I had lost another best friend. I am not sure what it was about Daisy that made me decide I was finally ready to welcome another friend in my life. Maybe it was her gently putting her paws on my back as I was exiting her kennel one day. Either way, I took her home and she lived with me for over 11 years (they thought she was between 2 and 4 when I adopted her) which is a long time for a Great Dane mix. She had a huge health scare about a year after I adopted her. We never figured out what it was but the nice people at NW Veterinary Specialists nursed her back to health and Katie Felton at Powell Vet continued her excellent care throughout her life. Her gentle soul will be greatly missed by us, her pit mix brother Hammy and her 20 year old cat/boss Lucy.
A donation was made in Daisy's memory and the memorial was created on July 26, 2018.
