Cosmo Willie Brown Wilch — named for the Donald O’Connor character in “Singing in the Rain”, Cosmo Brown with the addition of the middle name of Willie for “Free Willie”. This cat was 18 pounds of love, patience and zen for his entire 14 years. He never clawed at anyone, he loved to be around people. He would lay on a chair nearby when there were people over and on Andy’s lap often, his obvious favorite as the 2 men in the house (the dog didn’t count). When we adopted our dog Einstein, Cosmo took a look and walked away – he came to see Einstein as cats do (dumb dog) while Einstein just wanted a playmate.

He had kitty friends in the neighborhood who knew he was the big guy – none ever picked a fight with him. He stared down many-a-dog walking by and never flinched. Our neighbors and friends miss him too – he was a presence on our block who has left a vacuum. You join our other cats, Kiki and Elsa-mo in the Wilch Family Cat Mausoleum , Andy’s closet. R.I.P. as only cats can.

A donation was made in Cosmo's memory and the memorial was created on February 27, 2019.
