Our Chloe arrived soon after the loss of our cat, Toonsie of over 17 years. Chloe first appeared, resting on the hood of my Jeep, apparently for the warmth and comfort, having just arrived home from work. Chloe was with us for a little over 11 years. Chloe first bonded with my wife, Terrie, first during her brief outdoor status, then soon after, having decided to come inside and make herself at home for good. Chloe would sit on her part-time bed near the end of our bed, and wait for Terrie to get settled in, then up she went, settling into just the right spot, but not before getting a few good pets in. Chloe didn’t meow much, only when Terrie would leave for work, having snatched and thrown around her favorite fishy to express her displeasure at Terrie leaving I guess. Chloe provided much comfort and joy to both our lives, but the love, calm, and companionship Chloe provided for Terrie during this period was a true blessing, of which, I am truly grateful. Chloe was not without her struggles during her lifetime, but we met these challenges and persevered with a lot of help from our special Veterinarians, Technicians, and Staff at Woodburn Pet Hospital. We miss our Chloe very much and are so grateful for her love and for our time together.
A donation was made in Chloe's memory and the memorial was created on April 18, 2022.
