I got Chelsie when she was approx 2 years old, she lived in campgrounds and slept in a car up until I got her. She grew fond of her new life with lots of walks, grandkids, and plenty of people to become friends with. She was excited to run and play with all the kids and any people willing to give her time and affection. She would pick certain people she was extra fond of and would let out a scream-like noise in her excitement to greet them. She was always very vocal with any new reason to be excited, especially when people would come around. She was almost 11 when she passed away, had a full life of love and fun, not to mention many adventures outdoors and lots of different friends that she made along the way. She got along with all other dogs, horses, and any person or critter that was willing to accept her friendship. She loved playing ball, she especially liked car rides, and it didn’t matter the destination. We did 2 big walks a day of about 3 total miles a day plus any random play time during potty breaks. She loved water, it didn’t matter where it came from or why, if it was a pool, creek, sprinkler or hose she would be found in it at any given possible chance. She will be missed dearly and was a big part of the entire extended family, even my grandsons’ friends would recognize us as they drove past, she was well known and even more well loved.
A donation was made in Chelsie's memory and the memorial was created on August 20, 2019.
