Cedar Boy

We adopted Cedar a Lab-Hound mix, on July 13, 2008 from Greenhill humane society. We were told he was about 2 years old, had been abused, and was a ‘second chance’ dog. He was frightened of everything but when he walked in our house he laid down and gave a big sigh of relief, somehow he knew he had come to a loving home. He was the perfect boy he bonded immediately with his ‘Dad’ and became his daily companion. He loved playing ball, ‘working’ in the yard, going to the mailbox, or just hanging out and relaxing. He would not leave his yard without permission. He was a great traveler and loved going on vacation whether it was to the beach or to the mountains. He was considered the neighborhood dog, when out for a walk he would stop for head pats or treats and was loved by all of the neighbors. He was truly a people pleaser, we loved him so much and will always miss him our sweet beautiful boy!
A donation was made in Cedar Boy's memory and the memorial was created on July 13, 2016.
