Bunny

Yorkies are known as “large dogs in a small dog’s body.” At only 3 lbs full-grown, Bunny was the poster-child for providing giant-sized love and companionship in a teacup. With her adorable teady-bear face and her “forever puppy” size, Bunny made new friends everywhere she went. Everyone wanted to pet her, hold her, have a photo taken with her, etc. She made friends in playgrounds, parks, airports, shopping malls… anywhere and everywhere. Life was never lonely or isolated with Bunzo in tow! Bunny was taught as a puppy not to be yappy. She learned the lesson so fully she chose to never bark at all, electing to communicate in all manner of alternative ways… all adorable. I feel so grateful to have had her love for more than 14 years, especially given her estimated lifespan of 7-9 years, due to lifelong pancreatitis. Though I’m grateful she was able to avoid pain and crisis, my empty lap misses her, my daily routine misses her, my heart misses her…

A donation was made in Bunny's memory and the memorial was created on May 2, 2023.
