Buddy

My husband and I have had many pets since we married over 30 years, dogs and cats. Buddy was a golden retriever/yellow labrador mix. He had a golden retriever face but the coat of a lab. All our pets are loved and Buddy earned our love very quickly. He was truly the sweetest, most lovable dog we’ve owned. He had no enemies (except the garbage truck) and he loved his squeaker toys so much, he preferred his toy to a treat. He would always eat the eyes off of any stuffed toy we got him! He also loved water and swimming and of course he would have you throw a ball and retrieve it until the sun went down! He loved his older sister, Shasta our yellow lab who was much larger than him. They were very bonded. When she passed, he was very sad but after a while we got a tuxedo kitten and she loved Buddy and he was always very kind and patient with her. He will be missed always and we feel so happy and privileged to have had him as our Buddy.
