Bowie

We rescued Bowie from the mean streets of Baton Rouge, LA in 2012. He was living under/around Matt’s apartment complex. The first time he allowed me to hold him, he head butted me and I knew we had to have him in our family.

Our first night in Portland, he clawed the screen out of a window and escaped. Luckily, 2 nights later I heard his sweet scratchy “meeeooooowww” as I called his name and was able to lure him back inside with some treats.

He loved Meow Mix and became so bossy for it we started calling him “Meow-Quaeda” (due to the threatening way he would ask for his favorite food.)

He was the best head-butter and the sweetest little nighttime cuddler, even jumping onto the bed of guests and headbutting them in the night.

We will miss our Bo Bo and he will forever be in our hearts.

A donation was made in Bowie's memory and the memorial was created on October 2, 2017.
