Bogart

Bogart and I started our journey in 2008 in Tucson AZ. We traveled to Northwest that year settling in Lincoln City, OR.
If ever there was a cat who was a soulmate, it was him.
Diagnosed with HOCM at four, his future didn’t look bright at first. But thanks to the excellent care by the OSU Cardiology Vets over the years,
he beat the odds and lived a long and good life.
Though a kitten when I brought him home, he was a born leader and quickly took over my household of other cats, establishing himself as the Alpha on day one. Thankfully, it turned out to be a smooth transition as if they had known this little guy was coming all along.
Bogart grew into a wise yet funny cat. One of his favorite games was “Night Hunt” ( in the house ) where he would proceed to kill his best toy then parade around the house with it, always in the dead of the night, meowing at the top of his lungs to alert us of his brave conquest.
Sadly, Bogart lost his fight January 29th 2020 to advanced heart failure. He had a lot of friends at OSU and I am honored by your donation and kindness of dedicating a memorial to him.
He remains my Best Boy ….Always…..
A donation was made in Bogart's memory and the memorial was created on February 18, 2020.
