Blue

I got Blue as a 6 week old kitten along with his brother Bandit from some children giving 2 litters away in front of the Safeway store 14 yrs ago. Unfortunately we lost his brother Bandit at the age of 9 from the dreaded highway we live on. Blue was lonely and we adopted two female kittens for companions and he took immediately to one female Thelma. He taught her to hunt, slept with her and she was his shadow. She is totally lost without him. He would have turned 14 yrs old in May and we took him in for a problem with his eye and after all the tests we found out his kidneys and heart were failing. He was quite the hunter, always stayed away from the highway and came home at night for his dinner and to be locked up in the garage for safety. He was very loving and craved attention. He was never sick one day his entire life. He was the best cat we ever owned and we miss him very much.
