Belle

I’ve always been surrounded by dogs but never had a cat of my own. One day, I decided that I wanted to adopt a cat, a tortie cat. I went to the local animal shelter and there she was, my sweet Belle. She was very sick with a cold, couldn’t smell but was beyond lovable and sweet. She won my heart instantly. Belle was instantly friends with her sweet doggie sister Ruby Sue. Belle took me through the journey of adopting my first cat – it was a fun ride! I will never forget how soft her fur was, how she loved to be held on her back, kiss my nose or put her paw on my cheek, purr so loud the neighbors could hear, scratch at the bathroom door until I let her in then want out 5 seconds later, waking up to her on my chest in the morning, her incredible snuggles, running to me talking as I called her name, chirping at the hummingbirds in the window, playing chase with her chihuahua and mostly, coming home at night to her waiting by the door. She will forever be in my heart.
A donation was made in Belle's memory and the memorial was created on January 18, 2018.
