Artoo – and her brother Mr. Sid – came into our lives in May 2011. They were abandoned at the front door of someone’s home. The nice lady who found them listed them on Craigslist, my husband picked them up and our lives were changed forever. From the first moment I met Artoo, I knew she was special. She was so smart – she was able to open doors using doorknobs and even figured out how to unlock some deadbolts! She was very talkative and would constantly “correct” me or my husband whenever we didn’t do something to her liking. She was also incredibly cuddly; she loved to sleep with us, especially on my head. She was brave and funny and incredibly stubborn. I loved her so much and the 7 years and 9 months I spent with her were the best years of my life. We miss her everyday.
A donation was made in Artoo's memory and the memorial was created on July 30, 2019.
