We adopted Amy in March of 2010. She had been picked up as a stray and we were told that they estimated her age at 3 years old. As a retired couple Amy had constant companions and she in turn gave us unconditional love. Amy loved hiking with my ladies Thursday hiking group and was the hike leader for 7 seasons of hiking. She had to quit a year ago as her ability to take long walks ended. We saw that over this last year how she tried so hard to do all the things she had always done but try as she did life was getting very difficult for her. We sat with her, me on the floor and my husband in a chair next to us. She probably wondered why the tears wre flowing as her head rested over my leg and her nose laying on my husbands shoe then she went to her final sleep at 1:15 in the afternoon May 30, 2018. Amy you will always be in our hearts.
A donation was made in Amy's memory and the memorial was created on June 8, 2018.
