Amber

Amber was adopted at 1.5 years old from a Humane Society in Illinois. She passed away on October 5, 2021 at the age of 13.3 years old. Amber LOVED to chase squirrels but in January 2020 she literally flew down our deck stairs after a squirrel and tore her CCL. We also believe she may have had Cushing disease. The arthritis in her hips and legs hobbled her until her death but she did her best to please us. Always wanting to be nearby she was often underfoot; now we often look for her when we walk through the house missing her big brown eyes and floppy ears. We miss taking her for hikes and she always enjoyed going into the rivers and creeks. Amber was loved and we miss her.
